Although the weather was a bit hot the conditions were ideal for some good racing, and a good day
for the spectators.
The best run of the day was a new record set in the over 80 age group by Geoff Perkins, NVAC,
with a time of 57m 44s, taking 9m 42s off the previous record set by Bob Mathieson of
Longwood Harriers in 1998.
